*10 years of experience teaching Spanish, Latin American Literature, US Latino Culture and History courses in university settings including: UC Irvine, California State Long Beach, Occidental College and Golden West College
*5th year teaching Spanish in the high school setting which includes teaching Spanish for Native Speakers and Immersion students
*4 years experience teaching English to English language learners in the elementary school setting
*Masters and PhD in Spanish from UC Irvine
*Double Bachelors degree in Spanish Literature and English Literature from Loyola Marymount University
